Overview
At HINCH, we want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase. We understand that buying home interior materials online requires trust, which is why we've designed a transparent and customer-friendly return policy. Please read the following guidelines carefully to understand our return and refund procedures.
Return Eligibility
Items purchased from HINCH are eligible for return under the following conditions:
Time Frame: Return request must be initiated within 7 days of delivery Product Condition: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging Packaging: Original packaging, labels, and all accessories must be intact Proof of Purchase: Valid order ID and invoice must be provided Photo Evidence: Clear photographs of the product and packaging are required for processing
Non-Returnable Items
- •Due to the nature of home interior materials, the following items are not eligible for returns:
- •Custom/Made-to-Order Products: Items manufactured to your specific dimensions, colours, or design specifications
- •Cut-to-Size Materials: Plywood, laminates, panels, or surfaces that have been cut or altered per customer requirements
- •Installed Products: Any product that has been installed, applied, fixed, or fitted
- •Sample Orders: Product samples ordered for evaluation purposes
- •Clearance/Sale Items: Products purchased during clearance or final sale promotions (unless damaged or defective)
- •Adhesives, Sealants & Consumables: Opened adhesives, grout, sealants, and similar consumable products
Important: Slight variations in colour, texture, shade, and grain pattern between product samples/images and delivered goods are inherent to building and interior materials and do not qualify as grounds for return.
Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- 1.Raise a Request: Contact us at care@hinch.in or initiate via your account dashboard within 7 days of delivery with your order ID and reason for return.
- 2.Review & Approval: Our team will review your request and images within 2-3 business days. You will receive an approval email with a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
- 3.Schedule Pickup: Once approved, we will arrange a pickup from your location or provide instructions for self-shipping. Ensure items are in original packaging.
- 4.Inspection & Refund: Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
Items returned without a valid Return Authorisation (RA) number or that do not meet the eligibility criteria may be rejected, and the item will be shipped back to you at your expense.
Refunds
- •Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:
- •Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
- •For UPI and wallet payments, refunds are typically reflected within 3-5 business days
- •For credit/debit card payments, refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
- •For COD orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) to the account details you provide
- •Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect product sent by HINCH
A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to certain product categories for returns that are not due to damage or defect. This will be communicated to you during the return approval process.
Damaged & Defective Products
- •If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:
- •Your order ID and invoice
- •Clear photographs of the damage/defect and the outer packaging
- •An unboxing video (if available) — this greatly speeds up the claim process
For confirmed damaged or defective products, we will offer a full replacement or complete refund including shipping costs. Return shipping for such items will be arranged and paid for by HINCH.
Pro Tip: We strongly recommend inspecting your order at the time of delivery and taking photographs or video of the unboxing. This helps us resolve any claims faster.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order before it has been dispatched from our warehouse. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must follow the return process described above.
To cancel an order, contact us at care@hinch.in or cancel through your account dashboard. For prepaid orders cancelled before dispatch, a full refund will be processed within 3-5 business days to the original payment method. Custom or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
